By day, she works for one of the largest technology companies in the world, thriving in the fast-paced, high-tech environment. By night—and in every quiet moment in between—she channels her energy into embracing the cycles of nature, fostering intention, and weaving magic into everyday life.
For Dahlia, being a witch isn’t about a specific look or stereotype—it’s about living authentically, embracing nature, and recognizing the inherent magic within us all. Her mission is to demystify witchcraft, showing that it’s not something “other” or separate but a practice that can resonate with anyone. It’s about mindfulness, energy, and connection, rooted in the rhythms of the earth and the cycles of the moon.
After years of balancing her corporate career and her passion for spirituality, she realized the importance of integrating both sides of her life. She founded Modern Magickal Family as a way to share her journey and help others discover how to live intentionally, authentically, and in harmony with the world around them.

COO: Mary Faerie
Maryfaerie was born on 13 June in Montana when the moon was waxing crescent. She grew up participating in seances, reading tarot cards, working with a Ouija board, and dressing up whenever she could as a witch. She developed a deep affection for fairies after periodically bumping into them while playing hide-and-seek or sitting under a tree.
Reconciling Maryfaerie’s spirituality with a Christian religious upbringing was both a significant challenge and a great teacher. She became a “born again” evangelical during her mid-teens because of violence committed against her. Through this period, she gained greater knowledge about religion(s), and an even deeper understanding of the differences between religion and spirituality.
Maryfaerie, now a well-seasoned crone, shares her unsolicited opinions, dry wit, lived wisdom, and guidance on identifying synchronicities as part of the Modern Magickal Family experience.
