Meet Dahlia Moon, Founder
Hi, I'm Dahlia.
For the last 17 years, I've been a technology executive — leading teams, hitting deadlines, navigating the very modern, very demanding world that most of you know well. And for the last 20+ years, I've also been a witch.
Those two lives weren't always in conversation with each other. For a long time, my spiritual practice was the quiet thing I did in the margins... the candle lit before a big meeting, the moon tracked between school drop-offs, the intuition I trusted even when I couldn't cite it in a slide deck. I'm an eclectic practitioner with hereditary roots, a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, and a mother. My magick has always had to fit into a real life, because that's the only life I've ever had.
My path has been shaped by years of personal practice, study, and lived experience...learning how to balance intuition and intention alongside real-world responsibilities. I know firsthand that spirituality must be adaptable to be sustainable. That belief is at the heart of everything I create.
Modern Magickal Family grew out of a decision I finally made out loud: that witch isn't a dirty word, that spirituality doesn't belong only to people with endless free time or perfectly aesthetic altars, and that women and families deserve a space to reclaim the magickal parts of themselves without apology.
This is that space.
Why Modern Magickal Family Exists
Most spiritual content assumes you have hours to meditate, a dedicated ritual room, and no one interrupting you for snacks. That's not the life most of us are living.
Modern Magickal Family is built for the rest of us...working parents, busy professionals, curious beginners, long-time practitioners, and everyone in between who wants spirituality that fits into a real life instead of competing with it.
Here, magick is not about perfection or performance. It's about presence. It's about choosing to live consciously, in rhythm with nature and your own intuition, one intentional moment at a time.
I believe:
